Stomach pain - advice?

My family doctor just called, and I have elevated Liver and Pancreatic enzymes.  My appointment with my surgeon is in a little more than half an hour, so hopefully something will be figured out.

Just an update for anyone interested:

Evidently, my stomach pain is just gas.  Wow, do I feel dumb.

But, my testing showed elevated liver enzymes.  So I'm going to see a Liver specialist on the 23rd.  Blergh.

Don't feel dumb! I had my gallbladder out 19 years ago, and I still get pain under my ribs where my gallbladder used to be.  You didn't know what was going on, you did the right thing! I hope all goes well. Elevated levels still might be a problem.  You did the right thing.

You did the right thing by getting a call in ASAP. 

Why don't you ask them to retake the liver enzymes test before you go for an appointment the 23rd? I had an elevated test one time, and on retake it was fine and has never been elevated again.... before you start on the bunny trail of specialists and more tests....
