Another reminder of why I'm doing this

I am 2 weeks post op today... I can so relate to this post. Last summer, I found myself literally in tears everytime I tried to mount my horse. I quit riding... 

I am hoping that by the fall I'll be back in the saddle, literally! LOL

To the original poster, hang on to that bike, because before you know it, you'll be riding it to work with no problem at all!

As I got close to surgery I started to think about if I was doing the right thing. Even some in the hospital I thought about it after surgery. I made myself remember situation or reasons that made me want surgery to begin with. It helped immediately resolve any issues in my head

My surgery is 6 days away, and I'll do this... make a list to remind myself as there are definitely "issues".

Along the lines of someone else's suggestion - as I was decreasing in weight and the NSVs were happening fast & furious I kept a log.  Now I can look back, when I take my healthy weight for granted and the log reminds me how MO can creep up on you and why I never want to get on that horse again
