About to have a behavioral moment!!!!
Take a deep breath! We have similar starting weights. Check out my month 4 loss - it was the lowest. I am true believer that our bodies need to catch up with rapid weight loss. Make sure you're tracking everything, getting your protein, and drinking lots of liquids. Hang in there. :)

Sometimes we just need to whine to let it out. Keep on working the program. If your Dr and Nut say you have it right then eventually the scale will move. My daughter had a year long stall. Was told that was it for her and then suddenly she lost 15 lbs and has no idea why. 46 lbs is still a nice loss so I hope you can enjoy that. Hang in there.
Thank you all for the encouragement. I feel like such a baby whining about it. I'm sure some of you get tired of hearing newbies like me get upset about not losing or stalls. I know surgery wasn't going to cure the obesity, just assist with making it better. I try not to compare with others on this site and I think that's my downfall. I see some lose dramatic amounts and are close to my weight and I feel like I am doing something wrong. It didn't take me a month to put this weight on, I know it certainly won't be a month to get rid of it. My whole life I have been heavy and it's been a dream to be thinner. Shopping for clothes would be easier, wouldn't feel like people are staring or judging me when I walk in a room or put food in my mouth, or just feel comfortable in my own skin. I know - BIG self esteem issues lol.
As for questions asked - I follow the eating guidelines to a t, no cheating. There have been times I wanted to grab a piece of pizza with the family cause it looks so good but I'm terrified I will go back to old eating habits. I loved carbs before surgery. My nightly snack was a bowl of popcorn. But I know that was my downfall and go no where near it now. No I'm not getting in enough water (I'm working on that). Some days I'm goal with protein, other days I'm pushing to eat more. I just joined a gym Thursday and my step-daughter volunteered to by my gym buddy so we go after work.
All in all, I know the scale is eventually going to move...I just need to be patient. Someone did ask my age, I'm the big 4-0 lol. So I know that I'm not going to lose weight like I did in my 20's, heck even my 30's. Plus I had to have a hysterectomy a few years back which seemed to change everything about my weight and weight loss efforts. Damn hormones!
Please don't feel bad for whining, many of us do it in one way or another. This message board is here for just that! We're all here to support each other and expressing your frustration, asking questions and just basic camaraderie with others who have been there and done that!
Stick with it, I know from experience how frustrating stalls and plateaus can be, but as long as you're sticking to plan the weigh will come off.
We all have been there and our bodies have done that to us as well. Mine was 9 weeks long...not to freak you out. Try changing up your foods and what ever you are doing to move..... as long as you know you are doing all the right things you will start to lose again.

I need to be careful I don't whine too much to my hubby about it cause I think he's on the brink of hiding mine lol. I honestly felt like throwing the damn thing across the room this morning after weighing myself. He tells me to quit weighing myself all the time but I did it every day years and years before surgery, I'll continue to do it years and year after...it's just a bad habit.
