Water vessels
So, getting ready for surgery one thing I want to do really well at is my liquid intake.
I've heard all about the Yeti tumblers... they dont condensate.. Keep liquids cold or hot for hours, etc. Theyre wayyyyy too expensive though
Theres another brand supposed to be just as good called RTIC.
I bought myself (and my wife) a 30oz tumbler, and just got my 12oz lowball glass. My theory is I want to drink at least two, preferably 3, of the 30oz a day. The lowball 12oz is for keeping my broths and such nice and warm. From what I gather, liquids take a while to drink down 8 oz or so, so this should keep it nice and warm (or even coffee)
Theyre pretty affordable, I bought mine straight from RTIC. Their link is here https://www.rticcoolers.com
I'll keep yall posted!

I like the idea of a 30 ounce one.
Right now, 1 week post op, I have two Dasani bottles... One has straigh****er in it, one has flavored in it. That way I can sip from either depending on my mood. I would like to get something that's a little nicer to carry with me everywhere I go.
I was thinking about a Tervis water bottle, but those are only 24 ounces. I'll have to check these out :)

I have several 32oz Nalgene bottles. They're damn near indestructable, and you can fancy them up with vinyl decals. The marks make it easy to see how much you've had so far.

Saw these yesterday, but theyre a little too loud for me -- I wont be telling anyone at work I had surgery, so this would just make them ask some questions I imagine :P

Oooh, neat idea! I'm sure you could totally write it off-- just "my doctor says I should drink more water" could apply to anybody, surgery or no. :)

Typically, but I'm known as being the most hydrated person in the office haha. I'm constantly drinking... like, half a bottle at a time or more. To slow down to that little would be different and noticed :P
But for most, absolutely!
