Another NSV

I was at the Cancer Center on Thursday for my 4th chemo treatment. After all the basic questions on how my 3rd treatment went, the NP proceeded to do another monthly manual breast exam.

She said all was good and asked me if I have felt anything (new tumors). I told her that I have felt a rather large one just to the left above my right breast and then I pointed to the location. She felt it, then smiled and said it was a rib.

I suppose that with my bariatric weight loss I will find lots of internal things that I haven't seen or felt for quite some time. YAY!

67 yrs old, 4'10", BMI 31.8 (51.8 at start), HW 256.4 (8/4/15), SW 217.4, CW 152.8 (4/30/18), GW 125.0, RNY 12/4/15 Dr. RoseMarie Jones, Breast Cancer DX 2/16, Bi-lateral mastectomy 8/9/16.

Nice NSV to start the day. I was exactly the same way... felt something in the morning and had to wait ALL DAY till my husband came home to "feel it". I thought it was tumor and it was HUGE. His response..."that, my dear, is a bone." Good luck with the Chemo!

Glad to hear things are well with you. I was thinking about you yesterday and wondering how things were going. You are almost through the worst part. Yay!
