New Food Labels - showing added sugars
I just saw on the news they are changing the food labels in the next 2 years to more realistic serving sizes and larger font (for us old people)
What has me excited is the addition to showing added sugars. Check it out and let me know what you think? Is this going to help us with WLS, is this going to make a difference to any one?

Definitely like this. It'll be good to know the percentage of sugar a product has.

I'm curious if they'll stop allowing the percentages instead of milligrams of vitamins. Have you noticed that on the protein powders that contain vitamins/minerals they list them as:
Percent Daily Values (DV) are based on a 2,000 calorie diet.
Vitamin A 30%
Vitamin C 30%
I HATE THAT! Why can't they just list the milligrams and quit forcing me to calculate these. It's not like they don't know what they are!
