New show coming to NBC this fall

I was watching that Meat/Vegan video on YouTube,  but the preview for the new show This Is Us popped up and I watched it.  One of the characters is SMO and it deals with her weight issues.  I'm intrigued and I think I'm going to watch the show.

It looks pretty good. I love "slice of life" type shows. Thanks for the link! I am definitely going to watch. 

The only negative I can see has nothing to do with the show itself. I hate that the actress, who is gorgeous, is going to get tons of nasty, disgusting comments thrown her way simply because she's obese.

I'll give it a try - had me when she took her earrings off before getting on the scale.  LMAO, until I cried. I can still remember how terrible that felt.

I used to give a huge exhale...because those extra pounds all that air carried always made the scale go way high. Hahaha. I was delusional. 

Gah! Grab the tissues. I migh****ch this if I can remember. Lol

I forgot to remind everyone, but this show premiered last night.  I set to to record on my DVR and jus****ched it and it was INCREDIBLE.  I loved it, and I really loved the aspect of an obese character and her trials and tribulations.  

Anyone else watch it?

I watched. I thought it was the best pilot episode I can remember.
