So did anyone else's doctor prescribe creams for you to use after surgery?

I received Amneal Lidocaine 5%, and Diclofenac Sodium 3% to use after surgery...

I hope I get more prescriptions for pain than just these!

I wasn't. I'd be leery of using that diclofenac...even topical NSAIDS shouldn't be used by us. Is it your surgeon who prescribed these?

I woke up in between a memory and a dream...

I wasn't prescribed any creams.  I was prescribed Oxy.  I guess I am one of the lucky ones.  I have a high pain tolerance, or there just wasn't any pain.  I took one the night after surgery, at home before I went to sleep, and I took one the following morning, (two days out) and I have not had any since.  I did not even need regular Tylenol.  I have had a little discomfort since, but nothing that I would describe as pain.
