Preop appointment today .. and all cash needed

This afternoon is an appointment with my surgeon. Going to go over final preop diet, surgery day info, post op stuff, etc.

Also all monies are due for surgery, which for me hurts since I'm cash pay :P 

This week did all my lab work... Xray and PCP checkup was last week. Had to do a breath test (no one said I couldnt have water or anything an hour before I did the test, so had to wait around the lab office a while)

Everything should come back fine and should be on track for surgery on the 26th.

If you are not healthy the money means nothing.  Think of it as buying a car.  Except the car will depreciate and rust, but you can have a slim, healthy body for the rest of your life.

I think she was showing support ... I don't know you, but I was self pay also and spending that much money on myself was a big deal... still is.. 

I mean sure, it sucks to have to pay that amount of money, but I think its clear I understand the importance of health and paying for it? Also, while its definitely a lot of money, it was never a question that when I found out the insurance wouldnt cover that I would pay it.
