Fat is good for you. Going really low carb is good, but going really low dat is not.
Thighs, breast, small of the back, nape of the neck. It's all good.

Hi Chris,
I wish I could feed my dogs chicken, they are allergic to it, so good on you for giving it to your pups!
I personally can't stand thighs, I felt that way pre surgery as well, I will only eat breast meat, skinless, boneless. My husband loves thighs so I make them on the bbq for him and do up a breast for me or I do the thighs in a chicken curry. I also eat the Stubbs bbq sauce all the time!!!!!!!!!! I love that stuff. I get the spicy one and its pretty hot so you only need a little bit! I am 2.5 years post op but I always have used bbq sauce.
Good luck, you can't go wrong with either, chicken is a great protein!

Both are great at home. I do tend to look them up if I'm dining out as sometimes breasts are much lower in calories or fat. However at home we do thighs because they can easily be baked and retain a good amount of juice. I also like them for the grill or crockpot.
For myself I avoid sugar if at all possible and put all my calories towards things that are protein forward and that often comes with a good amount of fat. Fat is our friends, it makes food tasty and it keeps us full.

The cake is a lie, but Starbucks is not.
I have always preferred dark meat, and my post-op guts prefer it as well - chicken breast can still be a challenge and I'm more than a year out from surgery. I use BBQ sauce, usually Stubbs spicy because I like the flavor and it's got a lower sugar/carb count than regular storebought BBQ sauces usually do. I throw some thighs and sauce in a crock pot on low all day, then shred it when I get home and eat it with veggies. Reheats really well and super moist so it rarely causes problems.
