Chicken thighs vs breast

One of the first real food items I ate was chicken thighs cooked in a skillet with Franks Red Hot Sauce.  Tasted like buffalo chicken wings.

I prefer the breast if I'm going boneless, but only because I like the texture of the breast as opposed to the thigh.  I am not a picky eater at all, but I am very much into texture in my food.  that being said I love chicken thighs, especially grilled with a light BBQ sauce where the edges get slightly crispy.  MMMMM.

I'm having a large pouch day and I'm sitting here at work feeling so hungry.  I'm making boneless chicken breast for dinner, and i think I'm going to filet it thin and broil it with BBQ sauce.

BTW, I hate Walden Farms stuff.  Yuck.  It would be much better to get some reduced sugar ketchup and make your own low sugar BBQ sauce.  Personally, I just use a small amount of KC Masterpiece sauce.  I don't get dumping syndrome and I use so little that it's insignificant in my diet (I always log it)

I prefer chicken thighs to breast, although I eat both.  I find the thigh is more moist and more flavorful.  I don't care that much about the difference in calories or fat content.

Agreed! I eat both as well but I prefer thighs. My family complains about it so I don't make them often. Grilled is my fave way to make them...yum! I love to buy rotisserie chickens too and eat the dark meat from that.

I don't think thighs or breasts matter -- as long as they aren't deep fried and breaded coming from KFC!

Even if it's in a KFC bowl with mashed potatoes, gravy and corn?  Damn

Everyone knows that mashed potatoes are often recommended during the soft foods stage because they are so high in protein and almost calorie free!  Corn is a vegetable -- so it has to be healthy and gravy is just liquid meat.  Liquid meat is protein -- so it's basically a protein shake.  Therefore, the KFC bowl is perfect WLS food.
