Trip to see the surgeon for my 6 month followup. I'm officially just overweight and no longer obese. Woohoo!

I'm also needing to go to the thrift store and find some smaller pants. I think I'm down to size 16 from an 18 (originally size 24).

Feeling good. So glad I had this surgery.

Congrats, so exciting.  I'm like 1lb away.  It will be the slowest pound, ever.

You will. Drink your fluids, follow the food guidelines you are given, and just keep on keeping on. The hardest part for me lately has been fighting the carb demons. I know it's just head hunger in most cases... but Doc says no carbs until I reach goal and then only limited carbs (like a couple of tablespoons of a potato, or maybe a small glass of red wine once a week. I know right now I'm consuming about 800 to 900 calories a day per the surgeon's plan. When I get to maintenance, they will play with the calorie count to figure out how much I can eat and not gain and not loose... the NUT warned me it may take a few months to figure it out and told me not to panic when we get there.
