You will. Drink your fluids, follow the food guidelines you are given, and just keep on keeping on. The hardest part for me lately has been fighting the carb demons. I know it's just head hunger in most cases... but Doc says no carbs until I reach goal and then only limited carbs (like a couple of tablespoons of a potato, or maybe a small glass of red wine once a week. I know right now I'm consuming about 800 to 900 calories a day per the surgeon's plan. When I get to maintenance, they will play with the calorie count to figure out how much I can eat and not gain and not loose... the NUT warned me it may take a few months to figure it out and told me not to panic when we get there.
