Your surgery was a week before mine- What caused your complications?

My only issue I've had a small ulcer which I'm on the mend from.

My hair is also falling out- luckily i have a ton of it so I don't care.

I knew something wasn't right because I had burning in the pouch after I ate.

Was causing back pain also.

I don't know why I got it.

Sorry to hear you have had complications. My surgery was on Dec 17 2015. Curious to what your complications were that required so many surgeries.

I too have sleep apnea and high cholesterol. Did your provider run new test to determine that you do not have those health issues anymore? My surgeon will not run any blood wor****il i am a year out. Been thinking of having my GP request blood work and new sleep test.

I haven't noticed a significant amount of hair loss yet so i am hoping it won't happen to me .

Good luck on your next surgery and your WLS journey, it can only get better.

You and I had surgery on the same day.  LOL...I have lost all my hair due to chemotherapy. A bit of thinning hair from surgery would have been welcomed by me.

It's only hair.  Whether thinned or completely gone, it grows back.  Truly not a life shattering big deal to me.  I have a very nice wig but never wear it.  If you really are bothered by your thinned mane you can get a nice inexpensive wig.  BTW, my wig was not expensive but it wasn't a cheap one either.
