I saw Nik H's post on the Walk from Obesity and I'm psyched. There is one in Plainsboro (Princeton area) on May 22. Registration is only $10 until 5/3. You can walk at ANY PACE for ANY distance, so whether you are post-WLS and training for a marathon or pre-WLS you can do this.
I would be happy to walk as a group if anyone is interested.
There is also one in Paramus - Bergen County Comm College on June 5th.

I looked and there isn't one near me. I wish I was closer, I'd do it! It's over 9 hour drive from where I live, lol.

I'm actually off from work this day. I haven't been to NJ in the longest time but definitely interested in going, it'd be nice to meet people from this site in real life. I'll look into it, maybe we'll see each other.
