Thank you.

My fam is so happy. I had this terrible fear that I would fail myself if I gave even a little on my rules I've set for myself.

That was key to this so far, I actually sat down, and had a real, honest(brutal), talk to Gary about what all of this would entail. Then I started listening to those persons here who have maintained their loss for some time. Then I would listen for "veins" of things that were common.

In the process, I have began to respect several really smart, honest people. I began to be teachable, and strictly followed the advice given myself, and others.

I ignored the results at first, too locked into the feeling I did not belong anywhere still. Then, I started learning to be okay with being okay. I still swim against the current most times also. I must be a salmon.

If you trust the process of recovery, go slow, and listen to vets here, you will do great!

So much truth in this.  I too listened to those veins of consist results.  After a large amount of studying those who have the results I want, what they eat, what they say in response to questions, and any info to assist in my cause I made my own food plans for my postop life.  It's not what the doctor ordered, it's not what I found on a website, but a carefully constructed plan based on results from here and in good solid science.  On that note my plan is working for me, my weight has fallen off, and I'm enrolled with a personal trainer who is out to kill me LOL.

You look good! It looks like you feel good about yourself which is worth the world.  Swim on my fellow salmon :-)

My wife laughed when she read this. Too hard. Suspiciously, too hard. Hmmmm.
