I came home from my pre-op appt. and meeting with my surgeon to find out that Prince had passed away. Rest in Prince! Thank you for all you have given us and all the memories! Very sad day.

Terribly sad day, indeed! I grew up on his music. I learned how to dance to the Purple Rain album. Such a huge loss.

I used to go see him perform in his hometown in 1980/81 before Purple Rain. The show then was Vanity 6, The Time and then Prince.

The best concert I've ever seen in my life was on the Purple Rain tour. A true musical genius!

I'm just devastated that he has passed. I feel as though my youth has been ripped away.

Thank you Prince for making my life so much better by sharing your incredible gift! Rest In Peace...

RIP Prince.

I too grew up to so much of his music. Yesterday I walked down memory lane, all the days of dancing the night away to his songs, and I had vivid memories of dancing to When Doves Cry, Purple Rain, Lets Go Crazy, I want to be your Lover, and so many more...

The Superbowl performance a few years ago had me up and jumping around while my kids looked at me like I was crazy! hahaha

He will be missed :(

I'm late to the party, but I think the title is sort of bad. I would elaborate to RIP Prince. The only reason I ever found this website is I was googling stuff about my brother died 3 days later in the hospital from having WLS... This brought back those memories and concerns for people I dont even know on the forum, thinking something happened...

It needs to be edited to avoid causing any concern...
