No- I don't think it tastes any different. Keep in mind when water is ice cold- it harder to sense taste differences then it if were room temperature.

I love my Hyrdro flask too! I also am heavily reliant on both my kitchen scale and my bathroom scale. The other product I recently discovered and cant' figure out how I ever lived without is blender bottles. They are amazing!
