Protein drinks

I found a protein drink at Sam's Club called Premier Protein. It is pretty inexpensive, maybe $15 for 12 drinks. Is this any good for WLS?

Yup, a lot of WLSers drink PP.

While it is not pure whey islolate... the price, convenience of ready-to-drink, and great nutritional stats make it a staple.... in my life anyway. The new Bananas and cream is the bomb...tastes like banana pudding. I like the chocolate room temp- reminds me of YooHoo... I also drink it hot like a hot chocolate (just make sure you stir as heating in microwave). I am not a huge fan of vanilla or strawberry, but you might be. They sell 4 packs at Walmart if you want to try a flavor. Vanilla is good if you want to make a smoothie and add other flavors.

Sam's only has chocolate & vanilla. I HATE milk or anything milky (except I love cheese and ice cream), so... I'll have to deal.

I, too, hate anything milky (except cheese or yogurt).  Premier was the only protein drink I could stand. While I never loved it, I  didn't hate it.

Select Sam's locations also carry the new banana & cream flavor.  Lucky me, my club carries it!

Premier Protein is a great product, I use it to make protein pudding (using the premier shake as the milk in sf pudding). Premier is doing a giveaway right now, since they announced their flavor Bananas and Cream. Go here to enter.

I sip one of the 40 gram Muscle Milks all morning every day.  For the vets:  Is the Premier Protein better, worse, similar? Thanx in advance.

This illustrates how different our tastes can be when it comes to protein shakes. Muscle Milk is the only brand that I, literally, spit out.
