Yay!!!
So.....
I went dress shopping yesterday for my planned elopement next Sunday. What was pleasantly surprising is I was able to buy a dress in a normal clothing section!!! I was teetering between a size 22-24 only 3 months ago (honestly, it probably was a 24 because I was unbuttoning the 22's just to feel semi comfortable). Yesterday I bought my first size 16 since I probably was 16 lol. It felt good, I felt good and I finally didn't feel like crying my eyes out when leaving a dressing room. Aaaaaaaaaaaannnnnddddd.....I'm 5 lbs away from "one"derland. It's only going to get better from here!!!!
Thought I'd post a pic of the cute dress I found for a great bargain as well!
So exciting on many fronts!! First Congratulations on getting married...
Second - You look beautiful, love the dress and love the smile.
Isn't shopping in the 'normal' section, such a great victory? Expands your world. Can be a little overwhelming at first, where do I shop? I have found Marshalls to be a gold mine, and if you have a Ross check that out as well. even though I am not rapidly changing sizes anymore... when I went into my summer clothes realized almost nothing fit. Having to start a wardrobe from scratch means better get a good bargain...

Thank you! I have been struggling with the clothes thing lately. I want to buy some new stuff because everything is too big but at the same time I don't want to spend money on stuff that I probably will be getting rid of in a few months time. I will try Ross and Marshalls and see what I can find. I still have the mentality of being 40 lbs heavier and want all my shirts to be swimming on me so you can't see my rolls lol.
