Considering getting WLS in Mexico... Any Dr. recommendations?
Hello,
I just had my second baby ... One right after the other pretty much. I need to lose all of this weight, Ia am desperate and I can't seem to shed this weight off. I am scared about the surgery and insurance won't cover so I have to pay out of pocket and the us is just crazy expensive and I can't afford it. Mexico is my next option and I am just doing a lot of research and I just want to know your experience and any good doctor recommendations.

I have read a lot of good reviews. I'll be honest.... I just cried reading this price. I have priced out $24,000-$28,000 in Michigan. It isn't covered by my health insurance. My fiance and I were just discussing options last night... second mortgages, cashing out my 401k. I even joked that I would trade a kidney just to get the surgery. I am absolutely floored that you payed under $5,000.
You just gave me hope like I never thought I could feel!
I went to Dr Guillermo Alvarez. You can reach him at Endobariatric.com. He also has videos on youtube under Endobariatric. I watched them all and felt I knew him before I even went. Surgery with him was a great experience.

I had an AMAZING experience with him. I would be happy to answer questions if you have any. He also has a Facebook group by the same name. I joined before surgery and talked to a lot of his patients. I have heard NOTHING bad about Dr A. He was more expensive than some others ($8500) buti thought it was worth it. Good luck with your choice.
