Many people have a second weight loss surgery.

Some people go into the first procedure knowing that they will later do a second (like a VSG first and then DS later).

Some people are unsuccessful in getting to a healthy weight with one procedure, and they revise to a different surgery.

I believe that there is a board devoted to Revisions on the forum.  Look under the different surgery types.

Unless there is a medical failure of your wls or a serious complication, a second surgery is not going to solve your problems. If your pouch is still intact, then it is still there to help you, and you need to use it to your advantage. If you haven't already, you can undergo an endoscopy to check if it's still functioning correctly.

Many people who have lap-bands end up with a second surgery. Also many people *****gain do lose... unless there has been a failure you still have a tool.
