Thyroid Cancer before RNY

Have any members been diagnosed and treated for Thyroid cancer before RNY? Was there a delay or cancellation of RNY because of Thyroidectomy?

Not for thyroid cancer, but I had had a total thyroidectomy just shy of one year prior to my RNY. At the time of my thyroid surgery I wasn't even thinking about WLS. So my surgey wasnt delayed. My tsh was already regulated by the time I saw my surgeon. I'm sure he would have wanted it in the normal range before surgery.
