NSV- Bought this rockin' dress

I haven't posted any pics in awhile and I know they can be an encouragement for those early in their journey...so here it goes.

Many of you know I had LBL and hernia repair 5 weeks ago with the awesome Dr. Michaels (DC area)... BTW he is so worth the trip...

May 2nd I am having a Breast Lift and Arm Lift..... and later in May I have my niece's formal wedding.

So I needed to buy a gown.... First pic is me trying it on in David's Bridal... Zac Posen Couture. Great thing about 'couture' it meant it was long enough. All the other dresses were ankle waders on me (5'11").

Second pic is the Internet pic of the dress because my lousy phone camera makes it look black.

Third is a before pic taken the summer before my surgery. One of the less becoming of me. Sometimes I didn't realize my reality. We fool ourselves. Body Dysmorphia happens at almost 400lbs as well as when at goal. I couldn't ignore reality in this pic.

I actually can't wait to do a side by side of myself in this gown with me wearing a gown pre-op at my son's wedding. I felt beautiful that day...and it was a beautiful day.... even at almost 400lbs. The ugly pics aren't always our reality either. Just eye opening.

So here it is.... can't wait to wear it. First for me I will be wearing no bra as it is low in the back....yikes!

Wow girl, you rock! Luv the dress & your'e amazon/model height!, always wondered how it was to be that tall. I'm just average. 5'7''.  I could wear high heels & pretend to be that high. lol 

You look amazing & ooh you're doing the no bra thing, it'll be nice to have the girls stand up at attention, mines are on vacation down south. 

Hey T you have some pretty awesome style too...I've seen the pics. Actually they make the dress tight through your rib cage to hold everything up... but by then everything will be perky hopefully :)
