Today is my One Year Surgiversary!
This time last year, I was being prepped for surgery and I could not have predicted this outcome. My heaviest weight was 275 pounds. As of this morning, I am 164 pounds with my goal weight being 160 lbs. Many days, I don't recognize myself......
Life is wonderful. I am able to move easier.
I know my trigger foods--especially trail mix--and keep them out of the house. I am learning to prepare healthy meals and slow down when eating. Yes, my nose runs if I eat too fast and I get ill if I eat too many carbohydrates.
I will continue to weigh and log my food daily to keep me on my path. I will visit Obesity Help daily to keep me grounded. I want to thank each and every one of you who contributes to Obesity Help. I come here daily to read the questions and responses. I use the search engine to find answers to my questions. This forum has been a wonderful resource on my journey.
Anyone who is willing to do the work can be successful but it requires DETERMINATION.
