3 months out, loosing maybe 10lbs a month, started at 327 at 5'10 under 25 yrs old female. I'm told that the fastest weight loss will occur within the first 6mo. If this is true then wow, will it be slow after the next 3 months. How much did you loose from month to month throughout your journey.

Obviously everyone's body is different, and therefore will react differently to the surgery and weight loss.  For example, I had my VSG on 3/3/16 at 368.3 lb... Today, just shy of 4 weeks, I weighed in at 328.2, for a total loss of 40.1 thus far.

Now, I'm not telling you that to rub it in or discourage you, just to show you that everyone is different, and asking the questions you asked are going to show you just that, so do not be discouraged... Just continue following your plan and everything will fall into place for you!

My weight changes are posted in my signature line.  Typically, I've lost between 7-8 lbs a month since surgery last July.  I, personally, am completely happy with that because it has not been a struggle with that weight loss speed for me.  I feel satisfied with my amount of food, and haven't had any issues to speak of during the process.  I know some people do lose much faster than that.  I am at 9 months since surgery, 12 months since I started the pre-surgical diet.  Currently about 18 lbs from goal!

I was very strict with my eating until I got to goal. I did not start exercising until I was 7 months out. I used to go to a gym and exercise like a mania****il about year 3, but now all I do is walk. I love walking.

You look excellent! Great job! I am at about the same starting weight. I'd like to go fro 327 to 160 I'm 5'10 and 23yrs old. I am not scared to have loose skin, but your skin looks really firm. Did you incur an issue with loose/hanging skin?

I had a ton. I had my arms done, then a lower body lift and breast lift. I could still use my legs done, but I think I am done with plastic surgery. I was 43 when I had my RNY so my skin was shot. Being so young you do have a much better chance of not having to worry about loose skin.
