When did your weight loss slow? (Monthly weight loss averages)
ive lost 75 pound since 10/15/15 so about 6 months so just about 10-11 pounds a month
Obviously everyone's body is different, and therefore will react differently to the surgery and weight loss. For example, I had my VSG on 3/3/16 at 368.3 lb... Today, just shy of 4 weeks, I weighed in at 328.2, for a total loss of 40.1 thus far.
Now, I'm not telling you that to rub it in or discourage you, just to show you that everyone is different, and asking the questions you asked are going to show you just that, so do not be discouraged... Just continue following your plan and everything will fall into place for you!
My weight changes are posted in my signature line. Typically, I've lost between 7-8 lbs a month since surgery last July. I, personally, am completely happy with that because it has not been a struggle with that weight loss speed for me. I feel satisfied with my amount of food, and haven't had any issues to speak of during the process. I know some people do lose much faster than that. I am at 9 months since surgery, 12 months since I started the pre-surgical diet. Currently about 18 lbs from goal!

I was very strict with my eating until I got to goal. I did not start exercising until I was 7 months out. I used to go to a gym and exercise like a mania****il about year 3, but now all I do is walk. I love walking.

I had a ton. I had my arms done, then a lower body lift and breast lift. I could still use my legs done, but I think I am done with plastic surgery. I was 43 when I had my RNY so my skin was shot. Being so young you do have a much better chance of not having to worry about loose skin.
