Congrats on your weight loss thus far! I agree with what another person posted previously. As you post pictures in FB people will notice the change and begin commenting. You don't have to say anything about having surgery. Your response (if any) could just simply be that you're living a healthier lifestyle! All the best!

I didn't post anything until about 6 months in. IIRC, I posted a new pic with "I've been working really hard to get healthier!" as a caption. Something like that gives you an out from discussing specifics, or you can tell them that you've been working with your doctor.

You should start a weightless instagram!  There is a big weightless community there.  And if you search the abbreviated name of your surgery you'll find lots of support.  :)
