G.I. bleed ?

Hi everybody it has been almost  five years since my gastric bypass.  I still follow almost every single rule that I can and I am a very active person. Sadly I have had G.I. bleeding multiple times. I had  two episodes where stomach ulcers were found and a revision was completed.  About two years ago I had a Nother episode and yet again a stomach ulcer was found. My doctor had placed me on medicine to resolve the ulcer. Well I just spent six days in the hospital yet again.  This time there's no ulcer that was found. An EDG and colonoscopy were completed with nothing suspicious found.   Every time this is happened there has been no warning or onset of any kind that would lead me to think there was an ulcer. I went to bed woke up in the middle of the night felt like I had the flu got up to go to the bathroom and passed out completely. I lost blood rectally and it was bright red.  It has been almost 2 years since any issue and now a problem with no answers. Has anyone experienced anything like this?  Thank you for any comments in advance ! ?  I am too young and have two small children that need me to be healthy!

Something similar happened to my father. he had gastric bypass a good 10 years ago, and has struggled with B12 and iron deficiencies regularly. It turned out that he was severely anemic and had some asprin that caused the GI bleeding. He nearly died and needed a blood transfusion. If you're taking any blood thinners, are anemic or on asprin, make sure to talk to your doctor about it. But regardless, continue pressing on doctors to give you an answer and don't give up. Ask for referrals to specialists if you're not getting the help you need from your GP. Good luck.
