Hi, I just joined. I had the bypass on Feb 17 2016. Am doing well so far. Have had ups and downs but seem to have turned the corner. I am still on the soft food stage and my biggest challenge is getting protein in without using shakes, I have just started using the plain protein powder in crystal light.Any other suggestions ? Thank you all, this sight has gotten me through so many questions in the last 30 days.

Welcome to OH!

A couple of suggestions on soft foods that are good on protein are:

Eggs, scrambled with some fat free cheese.

Cottage cheese

Hummus

Chicken pulsed in the food processor and fat free mayo for chicken salad.

Ricotta Bake: World According to Eggface's recipe and is found in her blog.

Add unflavored protein to your sugar free pudding or take one Tetra Pak of Premier Protein Vanilla and add it in place of Milk.  This is how I make SF pudding I rarely use milk for anything now.

I hope these suggestions are helpful, again welcome :)
