You'll be in for a shock then, because you are due for about 2 weeks of not losing anything.

I never lost 25 pounds in any 3 week period. I ended up doing ok.

6'3" tall, male.

Highest weight was 475. RNY on 08/21/12. Current weight: 198.

M1 -24; M2 -21; M3 -19; M4 -21; M5 -13; M6 -21; M7 -10; M8 -16; M9 -10; M10 -8; M11 -6; M12 -5.

I've lost 66 pounds so far and I'm thinking that is an average of about 3 pounds a week. I'm pretty happy with that. I know as I get closer to goal that will slow down and I'm just fine with that.

I hope you can work on having realistic expectations or this journey will drive you insane. It is a marathon, NOT a sprint. I am 7.5 years out and like Grim, I never lost 25 pounds in any 3 week period. I have somehow managed to lose and keep off 200 pounds.

I am three weeks out with 15 pounds down from the day I had my surgery. I gained about 10 pounds right after the surgery,probably IV fluids. I feel good about the loss, particularly since I had already lost 32 pounds with the presurgery diet. It's not a sprint, it's a marathon. Think maybe you are a little unrealistic.
