It's great that you are in the best shape you can be, so you can beat this. You've increased your chances for a good outcome. If that's not the best reason for WLS, I don't know what is.

I didn't see your original post, but so glad the oncologist said your WLS was a life preserver. What a great validation. Good Luck and

Sending you love and prayers.  I have a good friend that went through the exact same scenario.  Her WLS saved her life.  They said they most likely wouldn't have caught her breast cancer in time if she hadn't have lost the weight because her breasts were just too large.  I know it's going to be a long journey, but you are in the best condition to fight the fight of your life.

Hugs,

~Helen

I'm so pleased that your WLS has helped your health!  I'll swing an organic chicken that your treatmental is bearable and that you'll soon be in remission.

Please hang around so we can support you xx

Being healthy enough to make it through a medical treatment - certainly one of the best NSV victories ever.  Best wishes for a speedy recovery!

Your Dr. may have given you the tools to better health, but it was up to you to use them properly & you did!, Good for you.

Sorry about the cancer diagnosis, at least you're as healthy as you can be to fight this terrible disease. Hope everything works out for you.
