Well this is an NSV I wasn't expecting...
I went to my new PCP today for my initial meet and greet. They checked my weight and did my height.
5 foot 4 inches.... Wait... wha??!!
A little more than a year ago I was measured for my initial consult at my surgeon's office. I was 5'2.5"....
I. GREW. TALLER!!!
I know why I grew taller... simply all that weight is off of me, but still... I'm like WOW!
Highest Weight: 340 (7/2/14) Initial Consult: 327.8 (2/24/15) Home Weigh In on Surgery Date: 291.8 (5/11/15) Today's Weight: 187.4 (5/20/16) Total So Far: 152.6 Pounds!!!!!!
"There's only us. There's only this... forget regret. Or life is yours to miss. No other road. No other way. No day but today."
What?!? I have never heard of such a thing! I have only heard of people getting shorter because they have less fat on the bottoms of their feet.
Now I have my hopes up. I am only 5'0" and have my one year appointment in a few weeks. maybe...
I haven't been measured for height yet but a couple of people have told me that I stand up straighter now. I thought that was a weird observation but I catch myself sitting up taller in my seat and I have had to readjust my driving settings. I would love a couple inches more in height! That would make my BMI even better?
