One piece of advice: Chew, Chew, chew!!
Had surgery in August 2014. Although I was ALWAYS told to chew very thoroughly, this is now just getting through to my thick head! If you chew everything very thoroughly not only will it stave off the hunger but you will also actually eat less and fell better. Here it is 1 year and a 1/2 after surgery and NOW I am just learning how to chew my food slowly and thoroughly!? Duh! SO my advice to new ones-which I know we are told right after surgery-chew, chew, chew, chew & chew some more! It's a new thing for us but something that is beneficial and will help with our weight loss!
