phentermine

I took Phentermine for a period of 3 months along with B-12 shots. I will make you lose weight i lost about 60 pounds during that time. However i had insomnia and felt like a crack head (its legal crack  lol ) not to mention what it did to my blood pressure. Once i was off of it with in 1 yr i gained the weight back plus 20 pounds and my body got wider. 

I would recommend you try to lose the weight with diet and exercise it is healthier for your body.

In the end it is your choice to follow what you feel you need to do but i would not recommend the use of phentermine prior to surgery

May I ask why they put you on this drug? what kind of problems were you having?

I'm taking it now, I don't like it, been constipated ever since I started. Tomorrow I see my doctor and I hope she gives something else. 

what are you taking and have you weighed yourself since taking it

Phentermine is just a legal form of meth. You need to be very careful because it is highly addictive. The last thing you want to do is become an addict. It happened to a friend of mine. Please use with care.

I've been on and off phentermine for the last 20 years its good short term (summer) and then once off you gain it back plus more .  im actually on it now to try not to gain anymore weight while awaiting approval .  my doc gave it to me because my band is unfilled due to reflux gerd heartburn and of course im gaining the weight back slowly while waiting for approval.  so if they gave it to you to lose some weight (help) than i dont see a problem with that especially if you have to lose weight before being approved.  try it if you dont like it wait for your approval and do your best on the liquid pre op diet..  good luck

thanks so much since starting it I have lost 6lbs I thought the scale was off so I went got on another and it said the same thing...I must say that was quick.....God Luck too you also

Thank you for the good wishes i wish this waiting period was over.  When r u scheduled for surgery.  if you have a date already you must stopm the phentermine i think 2 weeks before so make sure you find out from your doctors.

Drink alot of water as the pills make your mouth dry.
