WLS - Remembering those before us.....
Our Gentle Giant, as we all called him, is STILL making a difference Nik_H. He was a School Teacher and my Mother STILL runs into his students telling her how wonderful he was and how lucky they were to have him in their lives.
Wonderful and heart breaking at the same time.
Thank you for reaching out to us...I will be with my Mother and Sisters this weekend-I will let them read the posts.
I do think we have met....seems so many of our old friends are gone from here, Cail page is not very active.
Are you in CA? Would LOVE to meet up with you....
Blessings-look forward to having you on my journey!

Yes, the state boards are not as active as they once were. The more general topic boards and surgery specific boards are the popular ones now. While things have changed over the years, some of the CA group still comes to OH to check in. I am back in CA after having been in TN for the last 6 years. I had resigned from OH during that time to go back and take care of my parents who were both having health issues. I just moved back to CA in July of 2015.
Our National Event is scheduled for Sept 30th through October 1st, maybe you can make it to So Cal for that this year?

What a beautiful poem your brother wrote. I'm so sorry cute your loss!
Hugs and prayers for you and your family.
May he rest in peace, and good luck to you on your upcoming surgery.
