No worries.  I was considering going vegan for a long while but I just couldn't give up dairy for the long-term.

Lamb chops are the perfect size for bariatric post-ops. Best lamb chop I ever ate was years ago at a little Greek restaurant, I don't remember the name of the place.

I ate a couple of bites of Mom's medium rare steak while we were at the Grand Canyon.  It was too rare for her in one spot.  I was expecting it to taste REALLY good since I haven't had steak in ages, but it didn't.  Either my tastes have changed over time or it wasn't a good piece of meat.  It had no flavor to it at all.  The veggie stuffed burrito I ordered wasn't very good either.  It's almost painful to watch me eat now in restaurants.  I unroll burritos and scoop out 1/3 of the filling onto another plate, I cut solid foods into tiny pieces, I had 1/2 of a scrambled egg and cheese sandwich that I scrapped the melted cheese off the toast and gave the toast pieces to Mom and I only ate the 3 chunks of honeydew from side dish of fruit.

Crazy how so little amounts of food are satisfying.

I bought a recumbent bike after surgery.  I couldn't STAND being cooped up in the house, stuck on it.  I would agonize over the minutes until it was over.  I found that walking/running outside was so much more enjoyable, and I didn't have to force myself to do it.

I'm giving my bike to my MIL the next time I see her.  I haven't used it in two years.

Lucky MIL!  Sorry you didn't enjoy it very much and glad that you found a better alternative.

I have a small TV for the spare room so I can watch a program while I work out.  I used to enjoy the old Law and Order and SVU shows while working out so I probably will do that again.  I would try to walk faster on the treadmill or go at a stronger intensity during the commercial breaks.

If I get tired of having a home gym the equipment folds and can be stored under the bed. It will never be used to dry clothes.
