Robotic Surgery Anyone?

Mine was robotic. The hospital I used was a center of excellence so I was comfortable.

Mine was robotic. My surgeon is one of the leaders in robotic bariatric surgery. He said there is less damage to the surrounding tissue.

I was one of my surgeon's very first use of the daVinci robotic and was (and am) very happy about it. My recovery right after surgery was very quick and he felt it was at least somewhat due to the precision of the robotic procedure.  I remember him standing there at my bedside the day after surgery with a couple of other surgeons to show how extremely well I was doing, just before my release.  Definitely a good thing :)

Mine was robotic and all went well. I think I recall my doctor saying that the internal stitching is also more precise.
