leak question

does anyone here have any experience with leak?what was the earliest symptom?because im currently having a low grade fever and also feeling bloated and discomfort  in my stomach?i have searched on the web but the answer itself is not quite satisfying.phoned my surgeon and all he asked me to do was if my fever is higher than usual then i should go to the hospital
