Wait for insurance
My information was submitted to insurance (Arizona medicaid/ APIPA) 7 days ago on 2/18/16. Has anyone else had RNY using APIPA insurance? How long did it take to get an answer? I am tired of waiting and just so ready to start my new life!!!!!!

I had Aetna and they did a monthly review of weight loss surgery submissions. They happened to receive mine the day after their review for the month, so it took about six weeks to get the approval. Some companies are much quicker. Call the number on back of the insurance card and ask for a progress update.
