Day three of liquid diet and I'm freezing cold

Yes. It is almost universal among persons with WLS. It happens this early on because your metabolism is not working anywhere near as hard as when we're eating alot of food. Just the absence of the organ shimmy to move the food along causes it.
It can be countered of course. Electric blankets at night. Warmer dressing during daylight. Gloves.
It is a small price to pay for a chance at a more fit and healthy life.
Good luck on this journey.
I bought a heated electric throw blanket that I keep in the living room! Makes me feel so cozy - I'm taking it with me to the hospital next week.

I was freezing and having cold sweats day 1 of the pre-op liquid diet. I'm on Optifast 900. I'm cold every day in my 25C office. I have to wear sweaters all the time, slippers in the house, and have a thick blanket at night to sleep.
I have 2 elec throws, and an elec blanket and heated mattress cover (I do get warm with both of these on, but I turn one off after I warm-up). I find that if I keep the back of my neck warm - that the rest of me is OK.
