What a difference one year makes....

Today is my one year anniversary of my sleeve surgery. I am beyond happy with my progress. I have lost over 120 lbs in the past 12 months. I have about 15 more to go to hit my goal, but I know I will get there. Thanks to all of you for all the support I have received on this site. This past year I have been horseback riding, sky diving (yes, I jumped from a freakin plane and loved it), hiking, took on class 5 whitewater rapids, ran a couple of 5k races, got a tattoo and made a lot of memories with family and friends. I already have some fun and adventurous things planned for the next 12 months and can't wait to experience them. Life is too short to not enjoy as much of it as you can. Just remember, if you work hard then play even harder!!!

You should be proud of this great progress. It is a great motivator to those looking into this or other WLS to help with the solution to their weight problem.

It's never lost on me how many "before" shots are people sitting. While "during" or "after" are always standing. It's a great visual reminder of how empowering it is to lose that self-conscience feeling as we lose weight.
