I take my calcium (500 mg) in the morning at 7am (with my multi, magnesium, and vitamin D), another 500 mg around 1pm, and the last one around 7pm (with my multi). I then take my iron supplement around 10pm before I go to bed. I set a reminder for all of these in my phone so I have to clear it out after I take them. Just had my 12 month labs done and everything was excellent.

Phone reminders are the best! I have mine set up to play drug-related music when it's time for meds, even though I'm an absolute goody-two-shoes.

My surgeon and nutritionist recommend that they be spread out as your body can only absorb 500 mg of calcium at a time. So do not take more then 500mg otherwise your body will not absorb the addtional MG your taking.
