Waiting on my insurance to approve this procedure.  Has anyone had this done.

If so did you have successful results?

How long did you take off work afterward?

How was the pain afterward?  Did you have any complications?

I know that some people have had this done, but not many have posted updates or recent experiences.   I found this thread from 2014/2015.

Nina144 had it done and did have restriction and lost weight.  It seems that you do have to work this, just like you have to work your original surgery.   I really would love to hear more about outcomes, I think a lot of members are very interested in this.

99% of what I've seen about this procedure has been negative. Everyone seems to lose a little at first, but that's mostly from being on a liquid diet for a couple of weeks before the surgery, and a few weeks after. But after that, just about everyone seems to gain. Same holds true for the Rose procedure, which is another surgery intended to tighten the stoma. Add to that the BOB, or band over bypass, which has equally bad outcomes. A lot of insurance companies deny coverage for these, but not all.
