There's an entire board for surgery revisions, you may want to read old posts there.

The band is generally a bad idea; some hospitals don't even perform the surgery anymore because of the potential for slippage, internal damage, etc. If you already have a small RNY pouch, a band wouldn't do much either.

What are you doing right now as far as food/exercise/etc? Many folks find they are able to re-start their loss by getting "back to basics:"

  • 600 - 800 cal, 60 - 80+ g protein, >40 g carbs per day
  • 64+ oz water per day
  • Weigh and measure EVERYTHING and log somewhere (like MyFitnessPal)
  • Get moving when you can, even if only short walks a few times per week
  • Check in with your surgeon for advice and new lab work
