Instant Pot Models?
About a year ago I replaced my Presto stove top pressure cooker that I had been using for at least ten years. The new one has been a real headache to use.
I have to use the edge of a knife to get the stopper lined up and let it build steam. That was the directions in the manual. This summer I had it explode when the stopper popped out while cooking.Today I used it and the bottom handle is loose and there is no way to tighten it.
So I am putting in the trash tonight and ordering an Instant Pot.
I am somewhat intrigued by the Bluetooth model. Has anyone tried that one? I live alone and do not make big meals, so the smaller the better. Instant Pot IP-DUO60 says it is the best seller on Amazon.
Anyone have a recommendation for which one to buy?

I've got 2 of the 7 in 1 and I love it. If you can - wait for a sale... They have it very often. I bought one full pruce,,the second one when it was a lost 50 % off..
I love mine. Even if just making chicken soup or beef stew..

They had it on black Friday for 78..or so. But even at 115 is a good deal... Saves so much time and energy.. .
I also invested in an extra silicone ring, so I can make 2-3 dishes in one day if needed. The silicone ring does retain the odor of what you cook. I had to wash mine 2 times in the dishwasher to get some of my Indian food flavor out of it.

I have been checking prices regularly on Amazon since Xmas, and no sales. Today is the best new price at $114. Normally it is $118. Now the warehouse deals are different- those can go as low as $65. I am just kicking myself for not picking one up on the Black Friday deal. Even at full price though it is totally worth it.

I got the 7-in-1 Instapot because I wanted the yogurt function. That is what made me even buy it. It works great. I also like the saute function for browning or thickening sauces after. After I bought it I found out you can look at there warehouse deals on Amazon and they have them sometimes. These are returns Amazon can't sell as new. I have bought off the warehouse before and never had a problem. Would have saved me like $40. Stock changes though so you have to keep on checking.

I love techie stuff (tech teacher here), but I didn't feel like it offered enough at that price point. You can't monitor it unless you are in range, limited capability... for now. I think future models will offer more, but for now I think the duo 7-1 model is the way to go.
