During our XXLarge life how many times have you said this?
OMG. How true. When I was young I weighed about 160 pounds, and everyone called me 'fat' because I wasn't 130 pounds. (I despise them all now.)
I dieted myself up to nearly 400 pounds, lost 140 with RNY, and still have a lifetime struggle to lose weight at 260. I wish I was as fat as the first time I thought I was fat.
Me too! I was "fat" at 5'6" and 145. I threw track.
What I was a mature woman at high school (physically). The girls around me were still kids (short and scrawny with no boobs).
I look at my HS photos now and think. "**** I was so stupid and dingy for believing the hype!"

I've been clearing out old pictures - scanning, giving away, etc. When I saw pix of me as a kid, I thought why did any say she was fat. I was a cute kid.

When I was a teenager I weighed 135lbs and always thought I was fat. I had two friends who weighed less than 100lbs, so there was always constant comparison. Nevermind that I was 4 inches taller with a stockier build.
Mine was a slow climb that turned into a fast climb. My all time high was after the birth of my youngest. I topped out at 291 with a BMI of over 51.
