Question for the ladies...

Were any of you on your period when you had surgery? If so, did that make them postpone it? I'm supposed to have my surgery on 3/1/16 and I just started today which means I'm scheduled to be right at the tail end of it come surgery day. 

I'm worried my stupid reproductive system is trying to sabotage me..lol..

No they will not postpone surgery because of your cycle. Just let them know, and dont use a tampon.

My came the day before surgery, yay. The good thing js though that they give you undies to wear so you don't have to be totally naked :) 

Yes, I was at the end of mine on the day of surgery.  I told the nurse in the Pre op area and she handed me this gigantic sanitary napkin and a pair of mesh underpants.  She didn't even blink.  Not an reason to postpone surgery.
