Feet are always cold!

After losing about 60 pounds since surgery, I always feel way colder than I ever did! I live in Michigan and there were times I could shovel snow in shorts because I was always overheated, high blood pressure etc. Now I'm always chilly and I've even succumbed to wearing old man slippers around the house haha!

Thats exactly my life, word for word.  If I didnt know that I'd look like an idiot, I'd wear gloves inside right now.

Do your toes appear really white per chance?

I developed Raynaud's disease after surgery. It started in my hands, but went to my toes the following year.  If it is Raynaud's, there isn't a cure, but my PCP recommended DHA and I have noticed a remarkable improvement.

Feet and hands for me!  And...the rest of me for good measure.  I love my fireplace and my electric blanket!

My feet get so cold now.  For Christmas, my wife got me a pair of Down booties.  They do a pretty good job, but some times even they don't do the trick.

My whole body is freezing all the time.  I sleep in a oversized terry cloth robe wearing Oprah-butter socks covered by a down comforter with the heater on and I'm still cold.

Last summer I had the space heater running in my office every single day.  I never thought I'd hear myself say this, but I do not like the cold.

I asked my surgeon if this ever goes away.  He wasn't very encouraging.

I guess I'm the exception. I never got the cold thing after surgery. It's 62 in my bedroom right now, and I've just got a tee shirt and boxers on. No blanket. 62 is too warm for a blanket.

Ooh I hear you, the past 13 years I've felt like a walking icicle. The running joke from my family is to get me any type of "warm" gift they can find...warm socks, hoodies, blankets, sportsman hand warmers and so on. On the flip side, on the very rare occasion that I do get hot, I get very uncomfortable and have a hard time cooling back off. I think my regulator is broken!
