Don't worry! I did the same thing! And the next day I had my first NSV and blabbed it all over here! :D

Someone came up with the acronym because as the morbidly obese, we've spent far too much of our lives letting ourselves be ruled by a Demon Scale, with a hateful wheel full of numbers.
A NSV lets us celebrate the good things in our lives, and our lives do not have to depend upon a scale to give us a reason for living or not.
Hurray for us!
