AA is always a good resource and a therapist would be of help too. I am sorry you are having such a hard time at the min and hope you soon find a way make peace with the changes in your life.

It's great that you reached out, it sounds like you are going through a hard time. The next move is to reach out for help from someone in your life that you trust to talk about your drinking problem. Like the other poster said, AA is a wonderful place to start. Good luck.

Dear Sherry,

I can not begin to know your pain. I too lost my mother to cancer and while the pain becomes less raw it never goes away. Remember your husband divorcing you says more about him then it does about you. Do you have a member of clergy you can speak with? often times they will have resources that will be helpful. Don't trade your food addiction for an alcohol addiction. Get help, AA is a great program if there is one near you. purge your house of All alcohol to help you have success in this journey too. You recognize there is a problem that is  the first step. keep going. you will be in my prayers.
