Good morning Paola!!! Things are bright and cheery here in Maryland. Not so cold but not so warm either ... I've already had a monumental 'blonde' moment this a.m. I thought I had lost my ID badge for work, so I put my stuff down in my office and went back out to the garage and retraced my steps, looked all through the truck and then back again. When I came back in the building I stopped to tell the attendant I had lost my badge (in case anyone turned it in ..) and she said .. you've got it on. It was hanging 'backwards' down my back instead of my front. I must have gotten it twisted when I undid the seatbelt and was getting out of the truck. Well, at least it's not lost and I'll get over making a fool of myself quickly. The word on my mom is good too. She's been moved to a regular surgical floor now and is able to sit up and get to the bathroom on her own. Dad says she's reading newspapers and worrying about her appearance. She will be moved to a rehab unit in the hospital and then possibly home in a few weeks. I can't tell you how relieved I am that she is recovering so well. xoxoxoxox, Mo

Paracetamol is an over the counter drug. It is the most common everyday pain relief drug used here in the UK. Paracetamol is an analgestic which means it relieves pain and lowers temperatures. It is our doctors cure for everything "Just take 2 paracetamol and rest" is there usual line, when you are not feeling well. Jackie

Hi, all! It's freezing here in Oklahoma, too! 26 degrees--so I pumped up the heat as soon as I hopped out of bed, but in spite of the cold, I'm thrilled to report that my new scales arrived yesterday and this morning I discovered that I am down 34 lbs. since surgery two weeks ago!!! Whoo-hoooo!!!!

Paola, Yesterday was another frustrating day at the office and with my family's health issues. Like you said, today is a new day. I have a plan of attack to try to help my dad; and I have a meeting at 8:15 that might move some of the work stuff along. It also may make me want to walk out of here never to return. Unfortunately, I don't have that luxury. I hope you had a good nap. I am at work and ready to do battle. We'll be seeing you later. Linda
